UX DESIGN
With a background in documentary film, journalism and the arts, I am passionate about storytelling, R&D and the art of empathy. I find the process of UX research stimulating as it presents an opportunity to facilitate greater impact through empathy building, collaboration and evidence-based decision making. Ensuring that ethical research drives the creation of future tech products is very important to me.
In 2019-2020, I worked for Law&Crime Network as a Researcher and Production Coordinator, moderating user interviews, investigations and interrogations for the purpose of further analysis and evaluation of case findings. I also directed and produced a documentary initiative for Allergy & Asthma Network which includes quantitative + qualitative research on a rare disease and catalogued a patient registry through personal findings.
My work in design and writing has been published by Columbia University, Hay House Publishing, Balboa Press, Atlantic City Weekly Newspaper, BMI Foundation and Bespoke Magazine.
Classmates and I at Columbia University worked directly with Taranis to identify customer needs and implement UX design improvements to popularize the app, attract and maintain users and further improve current technologies. We used methods which include in-context interviews, journey maps and survey creation.
