Yoga

I cannot be a teacher if I am not a student. I am continually learning. My journey began in 2010 when I was diagnosed with a rare illness.

When I moved to New York in 2012, I practiced regularly at Yoga to the People in order to avoid spending money. In 2013, I found Jivamukti Yoga where I worked for two years and studied rigorously every day. In 2014, I completed a 200RYS certification at Sonic Yoga with Lauren Hanna, and was there introduced to the teachings of Dharma Mittra. While in New York City, I have also taken classes at the Iyengar Yoga Institute.

I substitute taught at Broadway Dance Center for Nike trainer, Traci Copeland, as well as taught all ages at the Katz JCC from 2016-2018. I am currently available for private sessions, virtually or in person. I am very happy to share the gifts of yoga with others.
